Exactly.

I see a top tier of about five-nine players, plus a bunch of quarterbacks.

Then, a second tier of about twenty players, where everyone else is in a big lump. A player at 12 might not be significantly better than the player that one can get at 32.

Unless one of those top tier players drops (which could happen), trading down to about 20-24 makes a ton of sense.

BUT, wait until draft day. If somehow, one of those top tier players drops, you draft him. If you have a group of four-five players with the same grades, then trade back four-five spots (and take whomever is left from that aforementioned group).

No way are the Steelers trading up to get an LT. We should test the waters this season with Beachum as the starter with a full offseason worth of training under his belt. He's earned that at least. That being said if they took an LT in the first round, I wouldn't hate the decision to do that, but we shouldn't be trading up to do so.

We have more glaring issues that need fixed at the moment. ILB, WR, CB to name a few.

Greg Robinson has arguably the highest ceiling of any Tackle in this draft class. That being said, there's 0 chance the Steelers draft an offensive linemen in the first round. Zero. Zilch. Nil.

This will cost too much for the Steelers to move up. No way would I do this. At 15, we are in good position to get a difference maker, hopefully on defense. I can see us moving back a bit, but not up to the top 10. We have too many holes on D to try and move up this year. JMO though.
