Our starters Max Starks, Kendall Simmons, Jeff Hartings, Alan Faneca, Marvel Smith did a great job that we haven't seen since. Did you know Ben was only sacked 23 times that year? That number was almost doubled this last season! What's funny is I remember everyone bitching back in 2005 on how sub-par our O-Line was playing, lol. Sometimes we never really appreciate what we have until we lose it.

That has been my only complaint since Tomlin took over. Our O-Line has allowed way too many sacks even though Ben can take blame for some of them. We need to quit worrying about skill positions and focus more on building a strong offensive line first IMO. Without protection, what is the point?! Look what just happened to Manning last Sunday for a perfect example.

Anyways, I thought that that was a photoshop special when I seen that pic of Faneca then.

Yup, Fast Willie Parker. Hopefully, Bell will be our next Fast Willie.

He now oddly resembles "Lurch" from the Addams Family...

He only played in 12 games though.

So his sack rate isn't quite as impressive as you think.

Still better than the last eight years though...
