Default Re: Bradshaw's Super Bowl TD Passes

A lot of deep balls thrown, I think I only saw one Red Zone TD? I was but a young lad when Terry was in his prime, and I don't remember him having that kind of arm - and that is one tight spiral. I hear he was fast too. Critics can criticize all they want, based on those highlights, he delivered when it mattered.

And also, the poor Cowboys. They were in just about every video. I think Terry was truly a unique guy; rednecky (not a put down, just what is it labeled), goofy, cigar smoking, furn, not too serious, all of which I feel belied his athleticism and acumen on the field. It sounds like I am a Bradshaw homer?

Had a running game also. What is hilarious to me is the same comments made about Ben today were the norm in the 70's about TB. To me they were almost mirror images other than the fact that Terry threw the "BEST" deep ball I ever saw and Ben is a more accurate passer. Who knows, twenty-five years from now these same people may speak of Ben in the same reverence. On another note my son was only like 2 years old and we were watching the Steelers when Terry was hurt and taken from the game. My son started crying because Terry was hurt, shame he grew up to be a Giants fan, (could be worse though, he could of been a Patriot or Raven or Cowboy).

Lol. And as mentioned by a section in the vid, he led the league in TD passes at least one year... and this was a running team. But that's also in part because Swann and Stallworth would "run back and to the ball ", not sit back and let it come to them like these diva receivers we have today. Even with a lot of inaccurate passes, #88 and #82 would still catch the football...

We made Cliff Harris a chump every time we played him.
