Thomas I think will be fine once he stops thinking of where he needs to be and just learns where he needs to be so he can just play. He wasn't going to replace Clark as a rookie, but hopefully learned enough as its his job to lose going to camp this season.
I thought Vince Williams was very average.

Dude is a crazy workout warrior. I saw videos of him this week training with a gas mask on...I am expecting big things.

I think the Steelers are going to rely on Thomas, especially since Rooney expressed he wants Polamalu to retire a Steeler. This also means it's unlikely the Steelers will draft Clinton-Dix in the 1st round.. and will prioritize other needs with their 1st round pick, like Nose Tackle or Cornerback... I'd say Offensive Tackle if we hadn't wasted a few high round draft choices on O-Linemen already...

If he ends up being a twin of Kam Chancellor, i might climax unexpectedly like Forrest Gump in that one scene in Forrest Gump.

Not likely.

Kam is 6'3", 230.
Shamarko is 5'9, 210.

Shamarko might be Bob Sanders (sans the injuries).

Not liking that he may always be a liability vs todays super TEs that most playoff teams have.....

That NE game was brutal.....tough intro in the league

However the dude certainly has the mentality to make it.....and people need to realize he wasn't a 1st or 2nd round pick.....so while he might not become a full fledged super star, I definitely can see him being a contributor

I don't really like being Donny Downer, but I've only seen him make several great plays on STs, and maybe 1 on D. The rest of the time I've seen him, he's been mediocre to not good. My most vivid memory of him was getting burnt by a WR (who I can't remember), and in desperation he grabbed for the lower back of the guy's jersey, but instead only managed to yank the towel out of his pants while the guy caught a TD. I'm sure he'll improve, but we can't have too much more of that crap.

Typically SS is used more in run support so he should be OK. Nothing all that bad really stands out for me. With limited experience, I thought his coverages was actually pretty good, he just lacks height and it showed at times.
