If you love the excitement of math combined with a shrinking room you'll love Fermat's Room. It's in Spanish though, so you'll have to be able to read subtitles quickly.
Hmm. Interesting.

Just added to my queue.

Thanks!

Other 'indie' (legit 'indie', not 'Hollywood Indie') movies that are interesting and worth a view (although not the mind f*ck of Primer): Cube and Exam.
I've seen Cube, and I've heard of Exam.

Exam shall be the next movie that I watch. That, or Corky Romamo... hmmm... they both sound so good!!!

Really though, Exam is now first on my queue.

It's funny how one-word 'indie' movies are usually pretty good: Cube, Cronos, Exam, Moon, Pi, Primer...

Coincidentally, comedies named after their 'star' are often not: Corky Romano, Nacho Libre, Mr. Deeds, Little Nicky

just watched Triangle (2009). It's a pretty good movie if you like things that aren't as they first seem.

I still have to look into Primer!

just watched Man From Earth (2007). It was written by Jerome Bixby, who wrote the screenplay for It! The Terror from Beyond Space, wrote some episodes of the original Star Trek series, and Fantastic Voyage.

If you like movies with all talking in it, this is one for you. It's about a guy spending a day at a cabin with colleagues from a college. He tells them he's been alive for 14,000 years and they ask him questions to see if he can prove it. I think this movie would be in my top 50 of all time. Very well done.

At one point he reveals that he was Jesus, and that he was just trying to teach people what he had learned personally from Buddha, the woman at the cabin who is a Christian just about flips out

just watched Pontypool (2008). Another one to watch if you enjoy more talking movies. This one has zombies! It's all from the perspective of inside a radio station though, so there's no big action scenes, and there's very little gore.

Also just saw the Sand Pebbles with Steve McQueen for the first time a day or two ago. That's a movie! The story follows an engineer on a U.S. gunboat during the Communist uprising in China of 1926.

I love Pontypool. Such a good indie movie. If you liked that you may enjoy The Signal. It's twisted.
