Dennard official 40 is a 4.51.

Still dont change my view on him, he's still a a man to man corner who can be left on an island and not having to worry about a WR having a field day against us. I hope he's the pick at 15

What about McCullers, giant DT out of Tennessee as a NT pick? Not in the 1st but 2nd or 3rd depending on how things fall. I think we take a WR in the 1st.

If Evans is there at 15 I believe he's the pick Imo but doubt he'll be there. As for NT players like Justin Ellis & Ryan Carrethers can be found in rounds 4-5 good value for 2 down players

If Watkins or Evans isn't there (again, lukewarm on Evans) then any other receiver at 15 is a wasted pick.

do you go with Nix then, or look for NT in later rounds and go with best available CB?

Dennard or Gilbert will be there. Whichever one is on the board.

I agree (obviously) that Nix is the pick.

Pryor would not be a reach. I like him better than Dix.

Reynolds in R4??? I do not see him lasting that long.

I completely agree with R1&R2, and the thinking behind R3 & R4: NT NiX, OLB Murphy, followed by a FS & a CB.

Here are my thoughts:
R1: NT Nix
R2: OLB Murphy
R3 (comp): S Deone Bucannon (or Ed Reynolds)
R4: CB Terrance Mitchell
R5: CB Bene Benwikere
R5 (comp): DE Will Clarke
R6: CB, Aaron Colvin
R7: P

Mitchell never gets burned. Benwikere is physical (he lit people up in the East-West Shrine Game). Clarke was the best player at the E-W Shrine Game. And, Colvin would be a re-hab project.

Seems like Evans and Donald are rising, while Barr is falling hmmmm....

I don't think we can wait until our third round compensatory pick to grab a corner. It's just too long.

I like the idea of Murphy, but not if he comes at the cost of a CB/S.

That's my dilemma, as well.

I really wish that the Steelers had three picks between 15-64: CB, NT, & OLB.

As it is right now, it's two of the three... and, my thinking is that Cortez & Gay (& Ike) can be just as good as Ike & Gay (& Cortez) was. Add two young CBs, and hope that they can start in the dime, and supplant Gay next year.

NOTE: If Ike comes back for cheap, then I'm almost positive that they will wait until R4 for a CB.
