My favorite last night was the Blue Jackets page on FB, and their fans talking trash. It was so cute. I think they've been coached by Flyers fans though.

But yeah, it was a great game, and obviously glad the Pens got out of it with a win...they've really got to tighten up though. They shouldn't have too much of a problem getting past Columbus, but any one else is going to be a real problem.

Yup.. this seems to be a trend the last few years. They dominate during the regular season, then play like crap in the playoffs and choke. Tony Romo better stay away from our games.

Well, I was going to try and get to bed a little earlier tonight, and then the Hawks and Blues decided to go into triple OT. Great game though! Picked the Blues to take the series (actually picked them to make it to the finals), so go Blues! (Unless the Pens see them in the finals lol)

Oh, and LOL @ the Flyers. Got dropped 4-1 by the Rangers in their first game. Hope it continues like that!

And question for anyone who checks in here, should I make a thread in the Sports Dimension for the Playoffs? Or is everyone fine with just keeping the discussion here? I thought about it, but didn't know if enough people would even participate in a Stanley Cup thread, judging by how quiet it's been in here.

And it's like the Blues heard me lol. Blues take the first game winning 4-3 in 3OT. Now I can sleep haha.

May the Schwartz be with you!

If that's not the punny headline NHL.com uses (they LOVE punny headlines) for the game, someone needs fired!

I would just throw a NHL Playoffs thread in the Pens forum... it's not technically the right place, but the hockey peeps probably just go in here anyway.

This. I don't think many of our regulars or lurkers are hockey fans. If they are, they haven't found their way to this area yet anyway. Or maybe they aren't Pens fans....

I'm a Pens fan second. Does that count?

That was far too much stress for after midnight. Getting Oshie back is going to help our offense, but it's good to see the young guys step up and take some of the load off our top line. Ryan Miller showed up for the first time in the last 6 games, and if he plays like that throughout the playoffs I'm not concerned about Chicago.

Well that sucked. The Pens started off the game on fire and then went flat. Sucks to lose that game in Double OT.
