We went through what, 10 Presidents (I know a lot) before one came along with the power to change the health care system. It was not an easy thing to do. It will probably be 100 yrs before another substantial change is made (for or against it), by then, too late- it'll be part of America. Knowing this, the "repeal obamacare" argument is just hype to garner votes, in the real world it's just not gonna happen.

Ten's of millions? The Obama administration is not even sure how many people have signed on for their plan as of yet. They say 7 million or so have signed on but they don't report how many people have actually paid for their plan because they know that the people they wanted to target for their plan are not getting the insurance. That's the last that I've heard at least. People in the U.S. are losing their current plans because of Obama's lie, "if you like your plan you can keep it". How is any of this not a blunder?
Well for folks listening to Hannity and Rush you would think Obamacare is about as popular as Al-Qeada. But as the folks who are getting initial or improved coverage start to see that improved coverage that might be catching up with those who opposed the law because it was costing them more or simply because if Obama is for it they are against it.

A new bipartisan NPR poll shows approval numbers rising for Obamacare - which is now slightly more popular than its namesake.

of likely voters, conducted for Morning Edition by Democrat Stan Greenberg of Democracy Corps and Republican Whit Ayres of Resurgent Republic, shows the president's health care law is still unpopular, but it might not be as heavy a millstone for Democrats as expected....

"The conventional wisdom that it's an unpopular program that hangs around the necks of Democrats is absolutely a misreading of the poll data," he says. "If you look at this poll for NPR, we asked whether you favor or oppose the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare. It comes out 47 percent support and 51 percent oppose, with the intensity on the opposition side."...

In our poll, the number of people who intensely oppose the law is 12 points higher than those who strongly support the law — bad news for Democrats. But, Greenberg points out, 7 percent of likely voters in our poll oppose the law because it doesn't go far enough — presumably these are Democrats who wanted a single-payer, Medicare-for-all system...

Most voters do not even want to repeal it if this poll in four Southern States is any indication

Despite strong dislike of President Obama’s handling of health care, a majority of people in three Southern states – Kentucky, Louisiana and North Carolina – would rather that Congress improve his signature health care law than repeal and replace it, according to a New York Times Upshot/Kaiser Family Foundation poll.

The poll also found that a majority of Kentucky residents – and a plurality in a fourth state, Arkansas — said they thought the health care marketplace in their state was working well, even as they expressed strong disapproval of the health care law. More than twice as many Kentuckians say their state exchange is working well than say it is not.

Obamacare features such as keeping your kids on the parents' insurance until age 26 and not being denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions are popular. Of course to pay for that you have to require an increase in the number of healthy individuals buying insurance, which is unpopular (safe drivers required to buy auto insurance presumably are pissed off about their premiums covering wrecks by bad drivers as well). Typical mindset of the American public being against giveaway programs except when they are recipients of the giveaways - ask Mr. Bundy how that works.
