We are one injury away from having no running back depth. Dri Archer could not carry a full workload at RB because of his size. I'd have to see him in a preseason game to make an assessment. Practice squad maybe?

RB isn't my worry so much, we are a QB injury away from disaster!!

That's usually how it works. Teams don't have 3 starting backs on their roster. You cant be deep everywhere. And in terms of talent, the Steelers have a variety and they're all explosive in their own way. The position is not one to worry about.

Yeah? So is every other team in the nfl. There arent very many teams that will go anywhere with their backup, not everyone has matt cassel. excuse me im just testinh out my new smartphone its such a pain to type with

I think that Grad is more serviceable than what showed in the preseason opener. I remember some decent outings when he was a starter.

I agree. Remember what you are watching when you watch a preseason game. Can you say Vanilla? Everything is so basic it is almost unwatchable. Our backup QB will be fine if needed for a short time. No team can survive without their starter for any long period of time. Grad is playing with the backup players who have gotten very few reps together in practice. It is much easier to play defense without reps than offense.
