Taking a long time..
Anyone else think it's taking an awful long time this year for not only the Steelers, but most NFL teams, to sign their draft picks. In years past, by now, many of the 1st rounders are signed and ready to go. You always have your holdouts, but in years past... nearly all of the day 2 draft picks have long since signed, and many of the day 1 picks are either signed or very close.

It does seem a little longer. I don't know if it is because I am very anxious to get this season under way or if it really is taking that long. I am curious to see when all our draft picks are finally signed. Good thread Blitz.

Just out of interest, the Pats inked their first rounder Logan Mankins yesterday - this means we have now signed all our rookies for the upcoming season.
No details yet - but I would be surprised if it wasn't a 6 year deal. HERE PRE-SEASON....GOOD BOY PRE-SEASON! NM |

I started a Thread similiar to this a week ago, and most thought that it was routine for the signing to take so long. I agree with you Blitz, I am curious to see some of these players in camp when I get there. Miller and McFadden especially. Lets Gte moving already.

yeah w/ miller signing today, thats a good sign..he was the big one, and now mcfadden is next. I really worry if he isnt in camp on time. he could very well be a big part of our defense this year in nickle and dime situations so he needs all the help he can get in camp and preseason.
Im gonna merge this thread w/ your's cleve.. i thought I remembered seeing it but couldnt find it..must've had a blonde moment..
