"i cant imagine what they must be going through"

"this must be tearing them to pieces inside"

"how will they live beyond tomorrow"

im sorry but were they watching their children recover from a horrible car accident or survive cancer, or were they watching their 2 very successful children play a game and each earn about a million dollars apiece for 1 nights work. i could be wrong but i believe both parents had witnessed both of their sons lose a game before. it cant be that bad.

does anyone have an update of how their parents are doing today? after all they went through something much tougher than tony dungy did last year.
That needed to be said. Crap like that is right up there with the people like to say that an upcoming football game is going to be a "war." I recognize the games are intense and hype lends themselves to hyperbole. But I cringe whenever I hear a person (like myself) who hasn't been in combat, or even the military for that matter, compare what goes on in a sports game to war. Sure, people get hurt, but you and your buddies aren't at risk for getting torn in half and there is no chance of your family picking you up in a casket. Anyway, thats my related rant.

With that said, **** Eli, **** the Giants, and **** Archie Manning.

Glad to see you guys in San Diego have gotten over that whole debacle... I don't blame you.

I do agree it is something special to have two brothers match up like that. I still have some snapshots of the Griffey Sr. and Jr. from when I got to see them play together in the Kingdome. But the media always ruins stuff like last nights game that by overhyping it.
