I hope this week off gave the team some time to relax and look at what they have been doing wrong.....
I also think Santonio should be our # 2 reciever.......

If the receivers make some of thoes catches.....especially the one in the endzone, i dont think we would be 1-2
And i don't think there would be such worries about Big Ben..

i do believe that holmes should be #2 and washington and reid should get the backup spots followed by wilson, and morey

Wilson has caught most everything thrown to him. Holmes and Washington have not impressed me much at all so far. When your QB is having confidence problems you have to help him out by holding on to the damn ball even when they arent thrown chest high to your body. Catch first, run later should be the young WRs mantra.

No - it's not just Ben and I think most of us realize that, BBFW. It is, as Hines said in that article, a matter of the offense being out of sync and inconsistency in the passing game all the way around. I'm relatively sure that both Wiz and Cowher will address these problems this week in practice and we'll see a more consistent offense when the Steelers take the field on Sunday night against the Chargers.

btw - you forgot Cedrick Wilson in your stats. He may drop a few passes like all of the other wideouts have, but his overall play hasn't been all that bad thus far this season imho.

Cedrick Wilson's play has not been all that bad this year but he's a veteran and you are comparing him to rookies. He doesn't get many passes thrown to him because he doesn't get open. He's got Hines Ward on the other side. Why can't he get open?

Cedrick's production has been consistantly poor. He had one big game last year against the Bronco's in the AFCC game when he caught 5 passes, one for a TD.

I think near the end of the season Ward and Washington will be our starters and Holmes will be our #3.

Wilson for whatever reason seems to not come through when the momentum of the game is on the line (regular season). He made a really good catch in the J-ville game only to lose his clutch of the ball less than a second before the completion. That was a big third down play deep into the Jaguars field when the game was still 6-0. Cedrick wants to be thought of as a No. 1 type of receiver so fan expectation comes with the territory. That is just one example of a catch he had to make that he didn't.

Santonio Holmes is lost out there still. I just don't like using the No. 1 pick in the draft on a receiver. But now that we have him dude needs plenty of time to figure it out.

I'm really hoping Nate just had a bad game against Cincy. If he stepped up in that game then the Bengals would almost certainly be 2-2.
