With Batch, we are 7-9
We will probably be the same with Ben too, but I don't see Batch beating Baltimore twice, the Broncos or the Bungles in their building. Batch is what he is--a reserve.

Agreed. While Ben isn't Ben yet, he is improving with every game. The o-line didn't show up tonight, so you can't blame Ben that much for tonight's L.

Batch is not the solution. The only way Ben gets benched this season is with an injury.
If he played this way last season after his rocky end to the 2004 season I would have questioned if he was a 1 year wonder, but it would take several poor seasons before I would start loking elsewhere for a QB. Two of the three main receivers from the 2004 team have gone elsewhere and the Steelers have failed to secure adequate replacements - Ben has made mistakes in each of his three starts but you cannot blame a poor receiving corps on him. This team simply has a lot of problems to fix on offense and defense - Steelers have been to the playoffs 4 of the last 5 years - nothing lasts forever |

Ben is my quarterback. Period. We live and die with him this year. Unfortunately our O-line is getting shoved around like high schoolers. Dammit!
That guy Williams was pushing Hartings and Faneca back into Ben's face. WTF? Are there inuries to the line that we dont' know about? Is it time for some freash blood up front? I dunno.... I do know that we aren't gonna win if we can't run the ball and/or Ben is always trying to avoid the rush.

Ben is the QB for now, next year, and the future. He's not gonna see any bench time unless he gets injured. They drafted him for a reason. He's given us great memories these last 2 years, don't throw him under the bus at this point....
