what to learn from ravens vs. broncos

both run teams faced good run defenses and struggled. you could tell it was gonna be a defensive battle. both teams stuck with the run into the 2nd half. the first team that blinked and started to get pass happy lost. (both teams btw had 100 yds rushing against stingy defenses.)

the steelers have been playing like "that team" this season. you know... the team that blinks. the team that isnt happy to win a 9-6 game. the team that would rather match its playoff run numbers and average about 28- 31 points a game. the team that wants to keep ben happy and develop him into a carson or manning type qb (2 qb's who, combined, may never match bens sb win totals)

back to basics. i like the no huddle. and i hope they give ben the ability to audible. and i hope he starts audibling some of those pass plays into run plays.

i think we learned how to beat the ravens, ben needs a 15-25 and at least 1 td with no int and we can win 7-3. but if ben keeps this going then i would rather go 1-15 so we could have the 1st pick to help our team, we need offensive weapons, or whiz should remember about that one TE that is a top 5 TE in the league o what is his name?....HEATH MILLER. i think we draft a guy in the 1st round just to fill up the bench, notice that cedric wilson's talk over the summer didnt work, so what i am trying to say since i wandered off topic is that we need our offense to work to beat the ratbirds.

the one thing that I seen that I knew all along was that when McNair is pushed to the limit he is Not gonna succeed... the Ravens finally played someone with a defense that is very fast and atheletic and the Ravens couldnt move the ball and that is what he and the Chiefs are gonna see from the Steelers defense...

i think we just need to pound the damn ball down peoples throats. even if you have to dress duce and davenport, use those damn big backs and wear the defenses down, then have willie come in to burn a tired defense. i am tired of hearing bout all this "the bus is gone, they dont have what it takes to be like years past, bs! whiz needs to go back and use the same game plan like before, people know we will run the ball, run it, see if you can stop it.
