By the way, I'm not defending the writer's prediction simply because he predicted KC to win. I've said before that I don't think KC will win this game. I don't think that writer is far off though.

As much as I would love KC to win, there are just too many concerns for me. Our O-line is less than par this year and you guys blitz alot. Huard may die on sunday. Plus, it's in Pittsburgh, and KC doesn't play so great on the road.

I always try to be optimistic but realism takes precedence.

We have a QB who is tied for the worst in interceptions with 7, has no TD passes, and a 41% QB rating. Our WR corp consists of a hurt veteran, a non-production vet, and a youngster who is hit or miss. Our Pro-bowl safety, Troy, has a shoulder injury and can't tackle. Our defense is great for one quarter but then they get tired and give up 24 points.

Plus we have four starters out this game (Simmons, Reid, Porter, Townsend) and one third string LB in.

Optimism says we lose by 3 points. Realism says we lose by 10-14.
