I just got off the phone with a Steelers fan from Ohio. He just got back from training camp, his son and him go for a week every year. He asked if I saw Heath catch a pass while I was there. I didn`t and neither did he. I almost forgot about him while I was there. Nothing on him what so ever.????????????????

Various articles on Heath say he's progressing well. Everybody knows he has great hands, but it's blocking that needs some work.

I just got back from the night practice...it was awesome. I got Bettis' autograph for my brother, which was exciting, and quite a few others. had a good view from the bleachers...Ben threw one (I'm pretty sure it was only one) interception during the scrimmage and seemed to overthrow several times during drills...Tommy was looking pretty good tho, only had a couple incompletes. Cobb was on fire, definitely should keep an eye on him.

This internet at the hotel is horrible. I am trying to get them up now. If I do they will be in my camp report thread.

I saw Heath Miller catch many balls at camp. He was the guy I was watching the most. I thought he looked great! I only saw him drop one ball and it was a bad pass, I also saw him make one tough catch on a ball thrown low and outside. It was a hard thrown pass from like 7 yards, and Heath showed really quick hands and picked it before it hit the turf. He almost always caught with his hands, and rarely lets the ball get to his pads. He will be a very reliable receiver, but I was just as impressed with his blocking. I heard he was not a good blocker but he looked fine to me.

I also saw him lined up in the slot a couple times, and even playing Ward's "Z" where he goes into motion and stops at the end on the line and does a crack-back block to seal the outside for the runner. He was in motion a lot and got a bunch of plays where he was not in the 3-point stance, but up like a WR. This may be a sign that he will be used in the passing game..... I don't recall Tuman or Bruener doing too much motion, or slot.
