Hey, ESPN reached their conclusions by analyzing the players and the coaches; I reached mine by watching the games. I'll trust my own analysis, thank you.

Offensive line coach and former Steeler Russ Grimm ...
Not to nitpick, but Grimm played for the Redskins, not Steelers.

I don't see the Ben-gals mentioned at all......I thought they were going to win the Super Bowl????

Paul Zimmerman, from the SI power rankings:

"This is what I saw on the first drive against Atlanta. I saw Grady Jackson literally throw center Jeff Hartings clear and dump Willie Parker for a five-yard loss. I saw Josh Mallard, a reserve, a street free agent, beat Alan Faneca to the spot and sack Ben Roethlisberger. Now those are two All-Pros I saw getting beaten by a 33-year-old fatso and a youngster who'd been out of football for three years. I mean what's going on, anyway? The offensive line is an area of the team that's always been inviolate. Or is it now just in violet?"

So, I'm not the only one who sees that this year's line play is not last year's.

Max Starks does not help me sleep better on Saturday night. He at times doesn't finish the play and IMO still struggles to leverage that massive frame quick enough.

The very best of Kemoeatu ("CK" for those less frequently exposed to polynesia) I'm hoping is in the near future. CK's finest asset at Utah was pulling off the line and mowing grass and defenders downfield. We haven't seen many plays like that this season - one failed miserably against ATL in the Q1 which led to a sack. A guy like Davenport could feast on this.
