I understand where Mort is coming from and to a degree I do agree with him. It seems that if Ben does get on the field Sunday it will put all of last weekend's and this week's drama behind him and allow him to move forward. On the other hand, at what risk?
I believe that Batch can handle the workload this week and giving Ben another week to rest would benefit not only him but the team coming down the stretch!
Hopefully it was Chris Mortenson and not Morten Anderson; if the Falcons kicker has interjected himself into the Ben drama he has way too much time on his hands

Mortenson can't have it both ways. A couple of weeks ago Mort said on Atlanta sports talk that Ben was afraid to get hit and the Steelers were more concerned than they were letting on.

Now, after it turns out Ben has good reason to fear getting hit, the Steeelers reportedly want to rush him back out.

Mortenson is much better football reporter than medical reporter; how Mort can plausibly report how sucking it up and getting back on the field after getting knocked out twice in 4 months is in someone's best interest is ignorant.

Or maybe he was still concussed - that might explain the FOUR (hahahahaha) INTs. That, or he just sucks.
