We are usually a pretty slow starting team, not just the first game but usually the first month. As long as we beat the Titans, I'm not particularly concerned exactly how we do it. Every team needs an identity, and a little time to find it. Hopefully by time we play the Pats they've found out for themselves who the 2005 Steelers are...

we better beat the titans or i'll never hear the end of it from my friend, who has been talkin shit since he saw that our teams are playing each other. i've just been sitting back letting him talk shit cause i don't want to jinx anything but once we do win, i'll be sure to gloat like a mother ........

It's a home game, and the fans will get the team pumped up. Plus the fact that the Titans are a pale shadow of the team they were just a few years ago helps...
