Im not 100% sure why David Terrell was cut from the Patriots WR corps - maybe it was simply
due to competition doing better than him - as far as anyone can tell his attitude was good. We have alot of good receivers at NE at the moment - and I can see this is one area of weakness you have at the moment - you need a guy who can do 3rd/4th receivers job right away - PK Sam is as rough a diamond as there is - alot of talent, but probably made the wrong choice coming into the draft a year early so your best would be David Terrell. Cheers NM |

This guy was awsome in college, the 6th selection in the 1st round, by the Bears and then did'nt have a chance to show his skills with the likes of these QB's throwing to him: K. Stewart - C.Chandler - should of been retired C. Hutchinson- Oh boy Craig Krenzel- 3rd string at best John Quinn- the medicine man He has size that we need 6-3 212lbs. also, I would like to see him here instead of Mays and Morey. And as for Morey being on the roster as a special teams ace, bullsh@t, I think the coaches can find someone else on the team that can tackle! |

I think we should cut Mays to give someone else a chance. Morey showed he can catch in a pinch if need be against the Cats, and he's a great special-teamer, so I think we should keep him until he starts to deteriarate. I dunno much about other teams and if they cut anyone who could be good, but we should definately look into it.
P.S. when does Mays contract expire?

No loss in looking at him. Always good to keep your options open. Also never been very big on Mays.

I'd like to bump this to the top since Hines just signed, and compliment him with a #2 Wr in possibly Terrell, and keep Randle El in the slot.
Terrell= 6'3" 212 lbs.

I'd take a chance on Morgan. He's got experience. We could use him possibly as #3. He may be a better #2 than El.

I wouldnt really expect the Steelers to go after any fairly big names at WR. Anything is possible of course but they are still high on cedric and w/ Hines now signed sealed and delivered, we have a good starting 3..and for some reason they really like Morey as the 4th guy. And waiting in the wings is washington and of course mays.

they like moery because he went to an ivy league school, lol. i hope washington can step it up in practice and take the 4th spot. and i hope they get wilson involved because we never got to see what he could do in the preseason. and i want them to get heath involved in the passing game cause that would be a worthless first round pick if you're just going to use him to block.
