Excellent matchup Wolverine fans. Finally we can destroy the hypotheticals and get to the game on the field.
Having to stomach the Ravens loss followed the SC tank job at least will net one more important game. The good thing (at least on this side of Pasadena) is that SC will have awakened from the sleepwalk - the anemic performance against UCLA - and play like a Top 5 team. Experience? Edge to Michigan for sure. |

I'm a Buckeye fan and I never wanted a rematch.Michigan had thier shot at beating us and blew it.There are no mulligans,no matter how hard you cry.
Anyhow,I think to play for the National Championship it should be RULE that you won your conferance or a share of your conferance.

I dont know, I kind of was hoping for a rematch. All year long Michigan and Ohio State has been the best teams in the country. Florida is good yes but they lost to a lesser opponent (I cant think off the top of my head who it was). Michigan lost to OSU the #1 by 3 pts. I think it would be a great game again. Do they deserve the rematch, probably not but it would be a better game I think. Going strickly on common opponents with Penn State, who I am a die hard for, Michigan beat us physically and mentally. Ohio State just beat us on the score board. We had chances against Ohio State, against Michigan we just got crushed. So i do think Michigan deserve some credit. I think Michigan could pull off the upset if they played again, Florida is a mere road bump in the path of OSU getting the national title.

This is why there should be a playoff system. And as far as I am concerned it's not a NATIONAL title. A team in a lesser conference (Boise State) DOMINATED its conference, and got no mention. Thats crap and unfair, and why there should be a playoff system. It works in every other Division of the NCAA.

First of all... I would love to see a playoff in college football of atleast 8 teams maybe 12..Have 4 divisions... that would give you 4 bye teams... then let the other 8 teams play the first round and so on..... I honestly think that the top 8 are enough but just like the NCAA Basketball Tournament goes... there could and probably be some upsets if there was 12 teams in it... MERRRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE..
