I also heard that a lot of teams plan a logo/jersey redesign for this. I like the sleeve design in particular.

From what I've read, they've been designing this jersey for 3 years now and they actually wanted to debut it this season, but the previous designs were not well-received by the players in particular. Man, I just think the thing looks gay, and when guys fight, what are they going to grab onto? Shoulderpads? It may end up growing on me, but right now I say

Amen to that.

Some people dislike them but the majority of articles/threads I've read they are going over pretty well. Kind of like when the Penguins changed to the Vegas gold, I'm sure they will grow on many much like the Vegas gold. I don't hear nearly as many people upset over that "issue" as I did when they first brought them out. Personally, I welcome the change. As long as we keep our "new" colors and logo I'll be content. From a business stand point, jersey sales should take a nice bump.

I sure hope not. First off, he's 34 years old.

Second, while I loved the guy's intensity and hard hitting style, I've seen him take himself out of position to make the big hit and also take many stupid penalties.
