I still think it's funny that Steelers fans are in denial about his pass rushing skills. He's an EXCELLENT blitzer, and it's still his forte. If you watch his game, he gets held almost every blitzing play when he's one-on-one with the OLT, but that's getting to be de rigueur for the elite and speedy OLB's. If he didn't talk, he'd get more calls. He's become a much more complete LB in the last few years by his increased ability to drop back effectively in cover.

Still, he's on the decline, and the Steelers won't overpay. They've groomed his replacement anyway...

I would love to get him in a Bengals uniform...the only issue is he would be playing in a 4-3 instead of a 3-4 so he wouldn't be doing as much pass-rushing but more coverage. His personality is also a flag, but no more than Chad Johnson's.

I gotta disagree. First, it seems that he was probably shopped around, but no one wanted to give back what was necessary. Furthermore, Porter only has what... 2 maybe 4 years left. Yet his contract would probably have been what, 5, six years. Big bonus. etc. etc. So instead, they let him go, create room to keep some other players that are younger and the future of the team, and create room in the lineup for a draft pick, while Harrison fills in. I gotta think that really wasn't a bad deal.
