You would say that about the player i would like to see as a Steeler the most. LOL (Though i'm almost certain we would'nt go with a Safety) Don't even speak it into existence Tone ! LOL

lol. just saying what the word on the street may be.

this is the last year the pats have complete salary cap freedom and dont have to draft for immediate need. their most pressing need will be a safety, due to harrison being brittle.

of course needs after this year are rb, dl, cb, s, wr, lb. it looks like they are playing it on the splashier side and have the luxury to take the best player avaliable that they want.

"The streets is not only watchin,...but they talking now ? "Got me circling the block before i park it now !" LMAO

Real talk though Tone,....that's a very good call. The Patsies trading up for Laron would be an excellent move on their part. Not to mention they wouldn't have to pay two 1st rounders.

yep. jay-z said it best.

plus a safety at the 9 spot is gonna be cheaper to sign than say a wr, de or cb (all of which they need after 07 and 08)

you gotta think that while the prices differ a great deal, harrison is much more important than asanti samuel in that defense.

Once again,....good points. And to me it seems as if they're 'loading up' for one 'last good run' at the Title this coming season. And Laron in their secondary WITH Harrison (before he gets injured again. LOL) and Adalius Thomas on the field at the same time is absolutely ridiculous.
That would make for a helluva 'dog fight' in the AFC Championship Game ! (Note my shameless confidence)

another logical team to try and move into the top 10 is denver who really wants a de. its in their character, and they would be happier than a pig in shit if they coud swap with washington (who desperately needs picks) and land g. adams

I could see that as well. But i think the Skins keep the spot and make the 'sexy' pick with Adams. Their D-line is horrible and their possible second choice Alan Branch will be long gone by the Broncos spot. (And they don't traditionally go with the undersized DE's like Jarvis Moss or Quentin Moses)
But you never know,....anything can happen on Draft day. (As we see almost every year.)

2) Lions: Brady Quinn
There's much talk of Thomas here. But once again,....you don't pass on franchise QB's when you don't have one.
3) Browns: Adrian Peterson
Sure they signed Lewis,....but Peterson is the future. (And you can never have too much quality in regards to a running game)
4) Bucs: Calvin Johnson
C'mon do i even need to explain ?
5) Cardinals: Joe Thomas
Cards get their 'guy'.
6) Redskins: Gaines Adams
7) Vikings: Chris Houston
The only impact corner in a very mediocre class.
8) Texans: Laron Landry
Texans need help at Safety,...and Laron is hands down the best of his class.(not to mention one of the best players available in the entire draft)
9) Dolphins: Alan Branch
10) Falcons: Amobi Okoye
Reunited with college coach Bobby Petrino.
11) 49ers: Adam Carriker
Gives Nolan's Defense the impact and flexibilty that he needs up front.
12) Bills: Marshawn Lynch
Fills the void left by McGahee
13) Rams: Patrick Willis
Best linebacker of his class.
14) Panthers: Greg Olsen
Can't argue their need for a recieving TE. And Olsen has good size, exceptional speed and could catch a cold in the Mojave desert.
15) STEELERS: Jamaal Anderson DE/DT
Is an absolute beast that projects to be similar to Julius Peppers. Should have been gone much sooner,...but we get lucky. For those crying "pass rush",......you got it.
16) Packers: Tedd Ginn
17) Jaguars: Reggie Nelson
18) Bengals: Leon Hall
19) Titans: Dwayne Jarrett
20) Giants: Levi Brown
21) Broncos: Jarvis Moss
22) Cowboys: Michael Griffin
23) Chiefs: Dwayne Bowe
24) Patriots: Darelle Revis
25) Jets: Anthony Spencer
26) Eagles: Paul Posluzny
27) Saints: Aaron Ross
28) Patriots: Eric Weddle
29) Ravens: Justin Blalock
30) Chargers: Anthony Gonzalez
31) Bears: Jon Beason
32) Colts: Lawrence Timmons
If Anderson is a beast, do you see a possible beast "squared" that may be worth trading up for? We've traded up twice in the last few years... Troy, etc., with good results. Troy is a gamemaker. Any ideas?

That would be WR Calvin Johnson. (Probably the closest thing to a 'sure bet' in years) But i don't think Colbert and Co have the 'stones' and or 'vision' for that move.
