Yup...that's obviously gotta factor into the decision to take Quin now instead of next year. Romeo needs to win now to keep his job.

It will be interesting to see if Quinn sits his first year. If Crennel plays him, it buys Romeo another year since he can claim it is natural to regress with a rookie starter at QB.

OTOH, if Quinn sits and they go 6-10 then there is no progress and Crennel goes.

I really think Cowher sits it out until 2009.

Eh, I like Quinn, I'm kind of disappointed to see him go to the Clowns...I was hoping the Chiefs would pick him up.

I had to work from 6pm-11pm tonight at the gas station I work at on the west side of Cleveland,so I wore my Steelers hat.

I had all these damn Browns fans telling me how much the Steelers suck and how the Clowns are gonna win the Super Bowl this year and crap.

I am gonna be going to the Steelers @ Cleveland game, and I hope on the first offensive play for the Clowns that Timmons flies by Thomas and sacks the crapola out iof Quinn.

Brady Quinn - the 2nd coming of Rick Mirer. I think there's a good reason the "cant miss kid" fell to 22nd. Yeah, I know Marino fell all the way to 27th in '83, but I wouldn't put the QB class of '07 in the same universe as the QB class of '83....

wouldn't 6-10 be an improvement?

Technically yes,but not enough of one to warrant keeping RC and/or Savage.

I think Savage is a keeper, but RC is to much of a "nice guy" to be a HC in the NFL.

In his third year as a HC, progress for Romeo in today's impatient NFL is a winning record - he was almost let go last year.

When you have a failing grade progress is not getting a D-.
