Clancey signs w/ Giants

Clancy was released by the Steelers at the end of training camp last year, but he re-signed with the team when Pro Bowl nose tackle Casey Hampton suffered a season-ending knee injury. Clancy played in the final eight regular-season games and both playoff games. He recorded six tackles.

Not a big loss, in terms of losing talent, since Chris Hoke filled in great for casey last year.. but we'll need to address DL help in the draft for depth.

no doubt...i wouldnt be surprised if we went out and got a FA guard or tackle..and then picked up a couple in the draft as well.

we're ok at center, since okobi is backing up hartings.. but after that, I dont wanna play musical lineman ever again. If we need any indication of how much depth is important, look no farther than last year.

Yeah, its a credit to alan to be able to play tackle and guard everywhere..and he did it and made the pro bowl..but man, that denver game, we had every player available out of position trying to find a comibination that worked. it was crazy !

Ive got a buddy, who has connections to the giants front office, who hooked me up with a 2 helmets and a pic signed by jerome and hines when they played last year. Man that was the hookup.
