I got word last night that Rege will be taken off life support sometime this morning. Though I feel so much sadness at losing my friend, I take comfort in knowing that if he is suffering, he won't be any longer and will pass on to God's Kingdom with dignity.

We now pray for God's intervention but most importantly for God's WILL for Rege. Have it not as we would desire it lord but as you would have it.

If Your Will is to have Rege be with you, then so be it. If that is the case, then I ask for your peace, and comfort to sorround his family and friends!!

All these things in Jesus' name - AMEN!

My sweet friend, Rege, passed away at 9:20 AM this morning. I feel very empty right now, though I feel a sense of peace that he will suffer no more and his soul has gone to God.

Please continue to pray for his family - they are a very close-knit Italian family and are taking this very, very hard. Thanks.

I'm so sorry to hear this, babe. It's really a shame and I still shake my head, because this didn't have to happen. But as you said, at least he is no longer suffering and is in a better place. My condolences and prayers to his family, and of course if you need to talk, you can always contact me.
