Haven't heard much about Lewis. Seems he was stewing last year about his contract. Does anyone know his status? I was hoping they would break the bank to keep him around. (Can you say dead $) He has been a shadow of himself the past two years.
I hate the Ravens even more than the patsies, and thats hard to do. |

It's impossible for me to tell if they are overconfident at this point (It's May), but after the way they obliterated us last season I wouldn't bet on it. That team scares me.

wow McGahee could scare the hair off of a bald goat. His .2 avg more per yard over lewis is just scary, so they might get 82 yards a game instead of 80.
Ya were really scared of a washed up team. As long as are O line is fixed and everything is clicking we will sweep the Ravens. |

The Ravens have an awesome D - in fact it may well be a little too awesome in terms of salary cap distribution.
They have so much talent, and its talent that costs big bucks to maintain - they would be wise to invest some of that money in a playmaking WR and more importantly a good quality younger QB. The Ravens strike me as one dimensional, if you can get ahead early then I don't see theirs as an offense that is capable of playing catch up - what they are great at is getting ahead then stomping you into the ground. As long as the Bengals don't pick 2007 as the year to totally self destruct I can see this being a hugely competitive division - whoever limps out of it will struggle to get a top 2 seeding.

They've been great for a while now, three Super Bowls' worth of great. But only this season have the New England Patriots become The Show, the must-see team of stars, pretty boys and reformed bad boys. Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless. The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed. |

I am really not worried about them.
Old Man McNair will get pounded into the ground leaving Kyle "I Should Have Been A" BoLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLer the starting QB.So then we know all they will do is run the ball, and McGahee doesn't scare me one bit. Ray "The Knife" Lewis will end up injured,Rolle is quickly becoming a shell of his former self,Mason hasn't done jack since joining the team. The Ravens are very beatable as the Colts proved in the playoffs.

It won't. The Steelers weren't THAT Bad last year. The Bengals were able to handle them so easily. It goes to show how complacent the Steelers were that year. They thought the Ravens would just lay down for them and figured they didn't need an effort to beat them. They played half-hearted and the Rats made 'em pay for it. |
