He was pretty much the only bright spot on offense last year, but I think too much was asked of him. He had some ridiculousl games but when he couldn't get it going, there was really no one behind him to change things up.

Something I am worried about is parkers ability vs. the top notch defenses. He's really good at shredding through teams like Cincy and NO for 150 yards an a TD or two, but against b-more, jax, SD ... just couldnt grind it out.

I think we need another back that can grind out the tough yards. I'm happy we brought in barlow and davenport for a powerback roll, but i don't think either is the real answer. And i'm verrrrrrrrrrry happy we didn't draft an RB. Next year's draft is going to be loaded with good backs. Davis from Clemson, or Ore from VT please.

I agree with not drafting an RB. So many people were upset we didn't go after Bush or Hunt, but I felt like we took the steps we needed to fill immediate holes. Its a building process. You can't get everything you want in one draft. We solidified the LB position and went ahead and grabbed some larger targets in the pass game, which, in my opinion, our receiving core needed some boosting badly. We grabbed a great punter to hold down the position.

Next year we beef up the running game. Grab some OL and a bigger back. We made some solid signings to give them a boost in FA (Mahan, Barlow). I think it will be sufficient in helping our top 3 back have another solid year.

Barlow and Najah are not long term solutions (obviously). Not that this team is in a rebuilding stage, but you can't build everything you want in a year. New coaches, new plays. Good to see guys like Willie embracing the now. The guys we have are the best we got. When everyone is on board, efficiency will follow.

I would like to see the Steelers have some good help for Willie, but the Steelers arent going to pay the salary that some of these veteran players would want to come to the Burgh'.. Maybe Duce would take minimum wages to earn a paycheck in Pittsburgh this upcoming season!!! Just Kiddin' Everyone
I would rather the Steelers bring back Bam Morris instead...
