i think signing verron back is more of a special teams move than anything.....this guy could be an ace.....and already knowing the fb spot will help his chances in the two back sets were supposed to be running

veron is a good mud runner. a few years back he ran like the wind in a muddy, rainy game against miami that took place during a hurricane. hopefully his knee will hold up for him. i think he has great potential.

I still don't see how Kevan Barlow is a better player than Veron. Even in his prime, Barlow was little better than a platoon back. If anything, Veron and Barlow will compete with Davenport for the 2nd back spot with the two losers and Russell being in the mix for the third down back.
