I like Nate at #3 and feel this is going to be a breakout season for him with Ben being given more responsibility to get the ball downfield. Nate needs to work on those butterfingers, though.

I think when people look at Nate as of last season they look at the drops but hey the whole WR core was dropping balls, you could not buy a catch some games, even from old reliable Ward was dropping to. Nate dropped no less are no more then any other guy we had out there. With the horror behind us lets just hope there is not a repeat and that the hunger Tomlin is working on putting back in the team helps. A team that has that hunger in there eyes is very dangerous and concentrates more and less mistakes are made.

Nate will be just fine and even better I personally think this coming season.

Personally I think we should cut him.

Let someone else take all the drops.

Don't need him...

holy cow, he was essentially a rookie last year. look what willie did in his 3rd year. good thing we didnt cut him despite his butterfingers and "mishaps".

for as long as will blacwell, bobby shaw, and lee mays stuck around, history shows washington has earned his roster spot. the steelers dont put an UDFA on the roster without knowing time will have to be invested to develop them.

I can't see that he's no better than Ced, you've got to remember where this kid came from and more importantly where he's headed, . . . . ie for better things.

Baker, Fowler and Ced aren't burners, so we need back up speed, as Holmes is our only other deap threat reciever.

The no.3 spot should be he's to lose now.

He was one of the NFL's top 3rd recievers numbers wise after all . . .

I've not mentioned Reid because his injury throws everything into doubt for him . . .

I also totally agree. Washington is 3rd best WR on our team right now. EASY.

Wow, I wouldn't go that far....lol, but I do agree that the kid needs to prove that he's capable of catching a football. I'm more than willing to give him this season to prove to me that he's capable.
