Default Wallet Stolen

My Wallet got Stolen a few weeks ago and i am suppose to be moving to Cali in the first week of november and need some advice

I have already sent away for my birth certificate which will arrive on Fri

Contacted social security for a new card but a birth certificate does not count as proof of ID to get a card and in order to get a state ID you need a social (does not make sence)

Do not have any other form of ID AKA MEdical Card Student ID etc etc

Does anyone know how to get around travel or anything i can do to get thru this....already have bus ticket bought and everything

Like there has never been any tourists that have had wallets stolen being on vacation that has not gotten back home or anything but i cant seem to find anything on the net

Any help is appreciated thanks

Default Re: Wallet Stolen

Does the State require an actual SS Card or just your SS# for a new license.
Do you happen to have an old picture license or any other old picture ID that you might have tossed in drawer somewhere at home??
I had a similar situation happen to me several years ago and the state of Virginia accepted an old expired picture license as form of ID in order to get a new one.
