As compared to Big Ben's mental state after his accident.

At least Ben wasn't using it as an excuse for his performance. Seems to me that Caution needs to step up and be a leader on the team, I mean by god even you have to agree CS85 that you've got enough whiners!!

Marvin Lewis is a "Tool"...who minimizes his players actions..while using double talk to confuse and placate the Bengal following. BUT he is still the ONLY coach in Bengal history with a winning record, which puts him in a stratosphere of "Godlike" proportions.

The Bengal fans have blinders on as to his only having ONE winning season....and his orchestrating the Bengals into the laughing stock of the NFL....When your team becomes fodder for late night comic monologues...Its time to open your eyes!!!!

Actually, Forrest Gregg and Bill "Tiger" Johnson both finished their careers with the Bengals with winning records.

You say this like the Bengals weren't the laughing stock of the league before Marvin Lewis arrived. The Bengals already were fodder for late night comic monlogues all through the 90's. Losing was a culture before Marvin Lewis arrived in Cincinnati. Sure, there have been some bumps lately with all of the player arrests and hopefully these issues will be avoided in the future. But you obviously don't understand exactly what the Bengals organization was like before Lewis arrived.

actually.... as a coach Forrest Gregg finished his career at 75 wins/ 85 losses/and 1 tie (not a winning record)...and had one winning season with Cincy...but to be accurate, with the Bengals he ended up 28-25 .. before they realized one winning record in four seasons was a BAD THING

William Levi Johnson, Sr was indeed 18-15 with the Benglas but was only a coach for 2 1/2 years after Brown retired and quickly took a winning team his first year, to the bottom of the AFC central (with one winning season before they crap-canned him...hmmmm)

...and yep...I remember when the Bengals where just pathetic (with their ownership not wanting to even buy towells big enough to wrap around the players when they came out of the showers)...instead of pathetic and a caricature of what is wrong with sports.

Del Rio- Needs a consistent and constant QB before a verdict can be reached. Good defense and easy schedules have helped them overachieve which puts extra pressure on the coach.

Coughlin- Guy is in NY. If you don't win in NY, then you either need to quit after a couple years like Parcells so you can maintain your mystique or you'll be fired.

Lewis- This guy lost control of his team, and they didn't fire him. He hasn't won anything of any consequence and they didn't fire him. Why would they fire him now?

Gruden- Tampa doesn't have a real QB. Is that his fault or not? If management decides it is, he's expendable.

Fisher- I don't know. This guy is a lot like Cowher but he only got close once, and his teams are nowhere near as consistent as the Steelers.

Brian Billick- He's not going anywhere

Romeo Crennel- He is going to have an offensive line this year, and no Browns coach has had that since the 80's. The QB play should be better, too. If this team improves like it should his job is safe.

Herman Edwards- KC is a mess, and it's hard to lump all the blame on him.

Brad Childress- I don't know, what kind of expectation can you place on the Vikings? Don't suck bad or we'll fire you?
