Any Steelers goingt to 'Phins at Wembley?

Pedr, my friendly neighbourhood 49ers fan secured us tickets and assures me that I should hate the 'Phins less than the Giants so I am nominally going as a Miami supporter.

Anyway, we'll be down the Green Man for pre-game drinks on October 28th - apparently this is one of the places where NFL supporters will be congregating! be good to see any other Steelers peeps down there!

Personally, I dislike the Giants over the Phins. Pllaa...pla..pla..Plaxico...Burr...Burr...Burress being the main reason.

Yeah I heard about Plaxiglass being cited as the main Steelers fan objection, I also understand Eli Manning is a bit of a brat? Something to do with refusing to sign for San Diego? Just as a running total it's currently a 4-0 vote in favour of Miami right now! :p

When it comes to Eli, I feel it's a combination of Eli having the mind frame of a six year old and not being able to make his own decisions and Archie (his dad) acting like he owns the league. While I'm not a huge Eli fan, he never insulted the fans and the city of Pittsburgh like Plaxico Burress did after he left for NYC.

Plaxico Burress comments on Pittsburgh and it's fans.....

I mean, I don't think I was liked as a person. I was kind of seen as a black kid, young African-American, cornrows, drives fancy cars, wears diamond earrings, things like that. They just kind of based their perception off of what I drove and what I did and things like that. All those things were never a part of any other player on that team but me.?

OK I'm pretty much sold on Miami now 83 thanks for that! Trashing your own (ex)fans like that to excuse your own behaviour is reprehensible - Wikipedia is also filling me in on some finer details lol!

he's also clearly not too bright - aren't we all judged on how we behave or 'what we do'? What else does he want to be judged on? Who makes the best soufflet? favourite colour? who can hold their breath for longest whilst swimming through jam?!

I think it's unfair comparing him to a random word generator stored inside an animatronic mannequin. That's what that video is of right, I mean it's not a real person surely? ;p

I also remember him saying something about not really caring if we won or lost, as long as he got paid. Right after we lost to New England and Hines cried on national TV. Burress is an idiot, but he's my brother's problem now.

To be honest, I 'm not that bothered, though you should really support the Giants,
cus we could end up battling the Phins for a wildcard spot, doubtful i know, but any AFC loss
is preferable in my book!!

Hmmmm, I feel its less about the league and more about bout between good and evil. I suppose the best result is a 'Phins loss but with manning and plaxiglass being laid up with gonorhea for the game. I'm still landing on the side of 'phins for the time being I'm afraid - you are the only vote in favour of the giants thus far! lol!
