I guess every player the Steelers draft I usually become enamored with. Right now I'm so psyched about Ike Taylor. I haven't been this excited about a Steeler corner since the likes of the Legendary #26. While I did have high hopes for Dieon Figures and Chad Scott. These to I don't think they ever had a season where I can exactly say, " He's going to be great". But with Ike there's this weird feeling like the Steelers stumbled on something special. While the media, fans and organization are going crazy over Tom Brady being taken so low. The Steelers seem to draft from the 3rd round down better than any other organization. If Ike Taylor continues to perform at this level there's nothing from stopping this defense. While problems at corner and safety have been the weak link of the defense. Now it looks like it's may turn out to be a dominant force, more man to man. I feel like I'm back in the 90's.

We've definitely had some good picks out of small schools.
Ike is the latest, being form Louisiana-Lafayette Harrison is from Kent State, which produced Jack Lambert Greg Lloyd from Fort Valley State Stallworth went to Alabama A&M Mel Blount went to Southern University I think there a few more real gems from the smaller/Div 1AA schools, but I can't recall them. |

Its funny...not only did the light bulb finally get turned on considering we have been close to giving up on him in the past, but it is now burning bright as many around the league are talking about him shutting down C.J.

Ike has really been stepping it up. Hopefully he keeps this level of play up. He has been doing very well so far.
