I think Vick deserves a second chance. I'm sure he feels bad for what he did, and besides it was only for dogfighting. It's not like he killed someone.

I was wondering what Whoopie Goldberg was thinking when she defended him by saying that dog fighting "isn't that unusual for that part of the country" and that killing and torturing dogs is "all just part of it". Does that mean that the KKK is okay now, because hating blacks is just part of the culture of the south, and killing them is just part of it?

This is an awful mess. Vick playing the God card and black celebrities coming to his defense by trying to back up an indefensible position.

So ....Ok....Vick spent all this money to set up dog fighting rings for other people to make money but claims he never bet on them. So what he's really saying is that he just enjoyed the blood sport of watching the dogs tear each other apart.

Well...... either he's lying about the betting part (ya think?) or this is one sick MOF. (ya think?)
