I did skydiving once when I was in back in the states as a part of Public Speaking class to get over my fear of speaking in front of a more than 5 or 6 people.

First it was little hard to breath, but I liked it. If it wasn't for the money I would've do it again. Now it might sound silly but I think bungee jumping is way more dangerous than a ... skydiving.

Yep its a Steelers wrist band and my shoes are the Jermaine O'neal black and gold shox with the number 7 which is Big Ben's number.

Skydiving is waaaaay more fun!

I take it you did a tandem jump with an instructor strapped to your back?

The free fall is the best feeling ( I can see how those pro-skydivers get addicted to the adrenaline rush) in the world and its cool taking in the scenery once the parachute goes up!

I have tio admit though, I had a real crappy landing - the instructor told me to keep my knees up so I didn;t break my legs (or whatever) on landing ...but I didnt hear him when he said to put them down and we ended up falling in a heap on the floor.

If that wasn't bad enough then a gust of wind picked the parachute up and dragged us both backwards for about 20 meteres!!

Its all on video.....I really should edit that last bit off!

When I was out west earlier this summer (Glacier National Park) I wanted so badly to go hanggliding or skydiving in that area... The rush combined with the scenery would be absolutely amazing... I really have to do something like that soon..
