Default Jerseys to Buy, Jerseys to Burn

Quote:
AFC North

Cleveland Browns
Jersey to Buy:: Braylon Edwards, #17: Sure, Brady Quinn's the popular pick. But Edwards, the top pick from two years ago, is ready to explode in '07. Finally healthy, he should have a breakout year.

Jersey to Burn:: Tim Couch, #2: Even before the recent comeback and HGH stuff, Browns fans stopped donning the Tim Couch jersey. Now, it's just really lame.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Jersey to Buy:: Daniel Sepulveda, #9: Everybody's favorite Steelers rookie is a 6-3, 230 pound punter with a mean streak. A lefty with a wacky knuckleball punt, fans may be most familiar with Sepulveda from this crazy YouTube clip. Whether he lays out any punt returners or not, his jersey is going to be a hot seller in the Steel City this season.

Jersey to Burn:: Amos Zereoue, #21: Zereoue came to pittsburgh with a lot of hype and tons of promise. He just never delivered. It's safe to say it's now finally OK to retire his jersey ... to the trash can.

Cincinnati Bengals
Jersey to Buy:: Leon Hall, #29: Michigan's recent performance aside, Leon Hall's supposed to be the poster boy for the "new" Bengals. A wonderful student, a steady performer, and a respected leader, the first-round pick should get plenty of playing time in '07.

Jersey to Burn:: Take your choice of first-round busts from the past 20 years: David Klingler, Peter Warrick, Akili Smith, Ki-Jana Carter. Up to you. Now that the Bengals are somewhat respectable, you probably shouldn't still be wearing any of the above mentioned jerseys.

Baltimore Ravens
Jersey to Buy:: Bart Scott, #57: The up-and-coming linebacker should make the jump to the next level in '07. Already the subject of a feature in the Sports Illustrated NFL preview issue, Scott could give Ray Lewis a run for his money as the most engaging personality on the Ravens defense this year.

Jersey to Burn:: Elvis Grbac, #18: The off-season following Trent Dilfer's heroic Super Bowl win, he was replaced by the highly paid Grbac at quarterback. After a disappointing 2001, Elvis "left the building" a year later. The whole thing was an utter debacle. So what if you bought the jersey then? There's no reason to still own it now.

Also they should include Duce Staley for Burn.

I see way to many people will Duce jerseys on. I wonder if they know he got released.

They probably want to keep an eye on that fire if they set light to Duce's jersey - that amount of material is likely to cause a major blaze!

Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless.
The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

"Jersey to Burn:: Heath Shuler, #5: Still waiting for this one to be cool? Not happening."

That's Congressman Heath Shuler.

That's right... The Redskin's washout QB is now making decisions that affect our whole country!
