Brady's O-line is huge and very impressive. As said earlier, if we get no pressure on him, we will be toast. We need to play mistake free offense to stand a chance in the game. The Pats Defense keeps getting them the ball back in good field position. We cannot let that happen. I am hoping we can get just a little pressure on Brady or it could be a very long day. I hope someone gives them a few tough games before they get to us to shut up those arrogant Pats fans out there.

I agree. This is probably the most classic example of putting the cart before the horse I've ever seen on this board.

There is a ton of football to be played before then, and a million different things could happen. That's exactly why coaches make their game plans up one week at a time.

I think it's putting the cart waaaaaaaaay before the horse seeing as how this week will only be game #3 & the Patriots game is #13 on our schedule...

Someone else may have figured it out by then too. It's a copy cat league remember? I know the Giants shut down and shut out the Vikings in 2000 (D. Culpepper, C. Carter and R. Moss). If I recall they did it with sssLLLOOOOwwww a$$ Dave Thomas at CB. I think Cris Carter is one of the best recievers to ever play football, so this to me was no small feat. If they can do then Big Nasty D can too. Also, not sure who commented on hitting him early and often but I definitely agree with that on ANY reciever, but especially Randy. He's a big sissy and is not fond of contact. Just my thoughts.

For those who are interested there have been barely any genuine 4 WR sets and no 5 WR sets at all during the first 2 weeks.

4 WR's have been on the field for only 4 of the 127 offensive snaps so far.

What we are seeing is a balanced unit with 2 WR's/2TE's/1 RB the most typical with the 3 TE/1 WR set getting plenty of action too.

Positional groupings vs the Jets

2 WR/2 TE/1 RB -- 31/63 snaps
1 WR/3 TE/1 RB -- 12/63 snaps
1 WR/2 TE/1 FB/1 RB -- 8/63 snaps
3 WR/1 TE/ 1 RB -- 8/63 snaps
4 WR/1 RB -- 3/63 snaps
3 TE/1 FB/1 RB -- 1/63 snap

Positional groupings vs the Chargers

2 WR/2 TE/1 RB -- 27 of 64 snaps
3 WR/1 TE/1 RB -- 23 of 64 snaps
1 WR/3 TE/1 RB -- 11 of 64 snaps
1 WR/2 TE/1FB/1RB -- 2 of 64 snaps
4 WR/1RB -- 1 of 64 snaps

We've always had to pass to open up the run against the Steelers and this year will be no different - though we definitely have (at this moment in time) the best crop of WR's ever at Brady's disposal.

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

Anthony smith is a beast dont get me wrong I love the guy, but brady will be lookin his way..a lot.

Brady will still pass for a lot of yards, and he always seems to exploit the steelers pass defense when he plays us, always. With moss, stallworth, and welter, I'd be havin nightmares if I were lebeau
LeBeau is from the dark side. Nightmares have him, not the other way around. Brady will pay for his past sins against us!!!!!!!!!!!

The Pats game isn't until Dec...lol I think its a bit early to preview this one....Still alot of football to played until then......Who knows what injuries might happen? Who knows if Randy gets suspended for smoking the wacky weed or running over a traffic cop? One thing I'm sure is that Donte "Mr. Hamstring" Stallworth will have pulled his hammy yet again by then....lol
