but yet your boasting about brady and the patriots performance against at least 2 teams that won't be making the playoffs, and one , that at least to this point ,doesn't resemble a play off calibre team.....

I wouldn't count the Niners out of the NFC, either - not by a longshot. It is beginning to look like a 6-10 team might make the postseason in that conference.

First of all 3 weeks is no where enough time to start thinking who will be the MVP

Second of all with all due respect to Brady and the numbers he has put up but Manning has played against tougher teams than the Pats and the Steelers, so don't underestimate Manning's chances of winning another MVP.

One thing I would like to add....Both Manning and Brady have a world of time to throw in the pocket......Anybody that has watched the Steelers this year knows Ben doesn't have much time behind the Steelers Oline...Granted both Tom and Peyton have quicker releases then Ben...But still Tom Brady can grill a steak and throw a TD pass to Moss with all the time he has back there....lol

I can't wait until Dec............We will see who the best is in late Dec when the Steelers travel to New England.....

Agree just want to enjoy each week and hopefully watch the Steelers play consistent ball. Then the match up with NE will be a very good one and hopefully a play-off preview !

By anybody's standards, Willie had a very good season last year even in spite of the team's adversity. His value to the team has never been in question; Ben's value most definitely was in question by many during and after our 8-8 performance.

I think Peter believes, as many others do, that Ben's return to pre-injury form is the major reason the Steelers are so improved over this time last season. That's what makes him so valuable. He's showing the NFL what all of us already knew, that last season was the fluke, not the first two.

As long as Wille stays healthy, he's well on the way to premier-back status. In my mind, he's there already.
