^ I agree - I think Kendall struggled a bit yesterday. But overall another solid performance from the line that was somewhat of a question mark before the season.

Not bad, but gotta disagree about the OL, I give them a "D".

I agree, but prob. Ben at an A- because except for the fumble he did pretty darn good!

I agree with SteelDog about our linebackers doing a little better than the given grade - give a little more credit to Alex Smith for not having his head handed back to him on a gold platter.

I'm leaning closer to STLR4LIFE's grade for the oline. If you subtract the run and grade the pass protection I'd say D+ or C-. Otherwise we all wouldn't be giving Ben credit for HAVING to escape the rush.

Yeah, the Oline was a little suspect on passing plays. I don't know if they were "D" bad, but they certainly weren't A+. Still, the 49ers have a really good defense, so I'll give them a C+ because they did block well for Willie, even when it was completely obvious that we were just going to keep handing the ball off.

The reason Ben's numbers aren't all that impressive is that thus far this season we have not been put in positions where we need to sling it all over the park, but rather just need to run the clock out. In that role, I believe he has done well. I think that will change though when we get some tougher opponents which will put up some more points on our D.
