I'd only yank him if he's costing us losses, it would have to be a few in a row.

Thank God we didn`t bench the best qb in the league, just because he had a terrible preseason

Ben is awesome, Im glad we arent like some OTHER franchises **coughcough clowns-ratbirds coughcough** that go thru QB's like 5.00 hookers

I have to admit that theres been a couple games this year where I was getting frustrated watching Ben.. I love Ben just as much as any Steelers fan and he's gonna be an excellent quarterback.. BUT.... Cower must not get Kordell syndrome and stick with him no matter what . Nothing I hated more than to see KS keep playing after miserable game after miserable game. Most significantly, Baltimore. I would have yanked him after the first couple of series after he got injured as you could just tell he was in pain and not playing like he normally does.. He does need to learn I 100 percent agree but If he can't make the plays even in 1 crappy game I wouldn't be disappointed to see Cower yank him for the sake of the win.. He's been fortunate to have played so quickly in the NFL and a little reality check may keep HIM in check......

Don't forget that Ben told Cowher he would pull HIMSELF if he felt he was hurting the team. Ben is the future of the Steelers and if ever you take away the thought that his COACH has lost confidence in him, it will always be in his mind and he will suffer. He needs to lose a few games to get the experience he needs to win many more of them. Leave 'em in!

oh i thought this was a new thread so i voted anyway. hell no never put maddox in for ben if ben is healthy, i have no faith in maddox and he would just make it worse. i rather have willie parker throwing passes then seeing maddox out there
