Im not going to put it on the defense... they didnt play well, but they let up less points than the offense scored... i think the real problem is that our offensive line sucks. horribly.

The offense gave up one of those touchdowns. Also, turnovers put the defense on the field for extra snaps and forced them to play on a shorter field at times . I can't see how you can put it all on the D.

Its Thursday so the inital pain of losing to the Broncs is starting to ease. The defense is catching grief and deservedly so, but I still put a lot of it on the offensive game plan. We never gave the running game a chance. When playing at that altitude the time of possession is even more crucial than normal. We needed to run the damn ball and keep the defense off the field. It was by far the worst game we played all year on D, but we would have still won (ugly) with one less turnover.

It's a fine line. Had we managed to pull out an ugly win everyone would still be talking about how we are right up there with NE, Indy.
