The second consecutive road game against a division rival and a team wanting to turn it's season around. I can't really say I blame him for his upset pick. Was the Denver loss a bye week hangover or just a sign of things to come?

I'd have to say that Dr. Z needs to put the crack pipe down. The Steelers were one of the best in the NFL before the bye and had a bit of a meltdown last week in Denver - sh it happens. I believe that our guys believe in themselves and in each other - they're going to step it up this week in Cincy and slap that egg all over Dr. Z's puss.

Geez - what is it with these talking heads getting down on the black and gold after 2 losses out of 6 games???? Oh that's right silly me - we aren't the Cheatsies or the Colts. What on earth was I thinking?

if the steelers rebound with a big win, i think it will be a huge statement. if the steelers lose this one (especially if they lose it, not get beat) it could be a vey bad sign.

this team has always played well when in a tight spot, i don't think it is near time to count them out , even if they lose on sunday.

After watching that game again last night on NFL Replay, it came down to lack of pressure on the pass rush, sloppy pass coverage schemes, and simply not hitting open plays. Ben had an excellent second half but, in addition to drops by Ward, Ben had Parker wide open around the 15 when he had about 10 seconds to throw & threw it up for grabs to Holmes in the end zone prior to the 65 yard FG attempt, as well as earlier overthrowing Ward who as wide open down the middle. Add that to the turnovers and it was what it was.

IMO the over/under on Sunday's game should be in the low 60s. I assume the Bengals cannot stop the Steelers and will need to see a turnaroud before assuming Carson Palmer will not have a huge day.

I said it before and I'll say it again: Turnovers, shoddy execution and defensive gaffes killed the Steelers in Denver.

The Steelers can beat the Bengals, if they don't trip over themselves doing it.

Hoping you all are right and we bounce back with a big win vs division rival.
This is an important game and i think If we win this week then we also win the next 2 at home va Balt & Cleveland.

If we hold onto the ball we should win as the fumble return last week was huge.

Oh, and no one will remember what he predicted, either. Just like no one remembers what he predicted for JUST LAST WEEK'S games.

i don't think we even need a statement game. we all know the are good enough. if the steelers have a solid win, and overcome some adversity doing it, i will be happy. there is no doubt this team can have a great year, i'm just not sure that they will. we need good clean football on sunday, and some serious focus!

the one game at a time mentality is very important at this point in the season.
