He obviously has made some mistakes, mostly mental mistakes, and we have all seen that, but he's a playmaker, and he was a rookie last season so it was kinda obvious he was going to make some mistakes and screw up on some plays.

But if you look at this year he's been staying more in position which is what we want out of him so Troy can roam around the field, and an obvious example of that is the interception he got against denver, he stayed in position and followed the receiver and made the play.

Now his hits are a great thing, but Clark's smarter than him, and he's teaching Anthony. Soon you will want to see anthony out there on the field all the time

If fit i,d like Clark to start but i think Smith has matured this year and will do a capable job if needed

I'm not rooting against Clark, but A. Smith's arrival as a regular Black 'N Gold starter is about to hit primetime in a memorable form

Ryan is not a savior by any means, but he is a solid player, if he misses our game tomorrow, Cincy is the last team I want to play with a wounded secondary.

I agree. I really believe A. Smith is the future at FS. his ball-hawking ability and hard hitting will put the fear in WR's going deep.

I say start the future now.

And then sign Clark to a nice long contract... so we have NO questions at safety for a LONG LONG time.

I like them both.

Anyone of those two would be just as good as the other.

Looks like this wasn't an issue at all after seeing Smith's performance against Cincy!

#27 was on every lucky television set tuned to the game every other frame!! I think he finished the game with 34 tackles...

Yeah, he did seem to turn up quite a bit... a couple nice hits as well, just kinda saying, "Hello!"
