We obviously need to run the ball. There are no if's, and's, or but's about it. The approach of the passing game opening up the running game has only worked few times since Big Ben has been on the field. And dont get me wrong. Ben is nowhere near the quarterback he was last year, and we all know he can win games, but the fact of the matter is that if you hit them consistantly with the run, they are going to bring everyone up to the line. They are going to throw a lot of run blitzes. Thats when you smack them right back in the face with a steel hammer. BRUCE!! THROW A SCREEN PASS AT THEM! We have so many ways of breaking down a defense, we need to start utilizing them. And please. Get 6 yards when its 3rd and 5, instead of running that draw play, or gunning it 25 yards downfield. We are a better team than the Ravens, and as bold and early as it is to say this, this is the biggest game of the year as far as the schedule shows. Run the ball, throw a few quick hitters to Heath, and chip away at those dirty Ravens, and we will win.

I expect nothing but the Steelers' best effort. I don't buy into the favorite/underdog bit. They better give us a show no matter what. We all know damn well this is a much different team than last years. Now is the time for the Steelers to prove that 2006 was a fluke. And a chance for Tomlin to showcase his ability as a coach. This game will define the 2007 Steelers.
If they come out flat and unprepared like both games vs. the Rats last year, it will be a long night. And perhaps an even longer season. The time is now. Beat the Ratbirds. |

We need to hit them hard at the line of scrimmage to open up for willie it might even be a good idea to throw in davenoport here and there to mix it up a little bit.

When asked if the Steelers will blitz more against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night, Harrison shrugged. "It's a game-to-game situation," he said. http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pitt.../s_535999.html |

It's on, baby. The testosterone is flowing as witnessed by Coach Rex Ryan:

I just wish we had a real RB, instead of some scrub who is only on pace to break the all-time Steelers single season rushing record.
Right, Prov?
