Ben made some great throws last night, but some of those were iffy. He otta thank Hines for those catches he while in double coverage.

I have predicted the past two seasons that Ben would throw 30 TD passes in a season.....Last year I was way off and due to Ben's physical battles was the biggest reason for that....This year so far he has 25 and has 4 games left.....So I knew Ben had the talent to challenge Terry's record...

haha I thought that was so cute. I taped it on my DVR and have been watching it over and over again. That just shows you the close-knit bond of our team. They would do anything for each other.

Back to the topic, Ben had an outstanding game yesterday, even with the 2 INT's because of the rain. At the beginning of the game, Ben said the balls were bad and they were-there were spots of mud all over them. If it would've been a bright sunny day, Ben would have had no INT. I also loved his TD run. I thought he could have had another one, when Hines scored the 1st time, but Ben wanted to get that record for Ward. He was being unselfish and helping his teammate out, something you don't see too often by NFL QB's.

I thought all in all Ben played well. I'm very glad that we won but if you think about it it could have ended up much worse for the Steelers. If the Bengals would have converted on one of FWP "Fumbling Willie Parker" fumbles and the holding call wasn't called on Hines where Ben took a Safety it would have been a much different outcome. Kudos to Hines and the great play of the D! GO STEELERS!!!

When Favre throws a pick, everybody just chalks it up to Brett being a "gunslinger" or "trying to make a play"...but if Ben does it....everybody's second-guessing him

QB's throw picks...it's a fact of life.

If a QB throws a 30+ yard pass and it gets picked I don't find it nearly as bad as when he throws a 5 yard floater in the flats that can easily be returned for big yards if not a TD. Usually on the longer ones the defender is tackled near where he intercepted it; if it happened to be 3rd down its like a punt.

but if passer rating is considered insignificant, people can check the more telling stats of winning percentage and YPA through 50 games. i bet both are top 3.

i think this will be the 1st year tom brady doesnt throw double digit picks. he throws either 12 or 14 every year but 1, i think.
