I dont think its used with touchdown in mind. As far as FWP I think the negative side to his non-playing days at N.C. is that he never developed a running style that was all his. When I see him play now it isnt just that Arians is trying to pound him in there like Jerome Bettis but he trys to run like Bettis. He needs to listen to his own style.

The Greatest Game series on the NFL Network did the 77 Dallas Cowboys. The first segment talked about how Tom Landry tried to make Tony Dorset a pound them in the hole type of runner. Tony tried to do it Landrys' way but eventually won Tom over to his style of running where he used his speed to find the holes.

I've said this many times: It's like they ripped the HB screen out of the play book. They ran one screen to Parker in the Bengals game, though, and we all stood up and cheered.

The whole point of having a fast back is to give him opportunities out in space. We need to run more RB screens.

he can make screen pattern catches in my eyes but i also cant see him running a fly rout or a corner pattern and catching one but screens are doable.

I think the lack of screens has more to do with the def packages than anything, ever since the QB spy came to light, that brings an extra guy into to stop the RB screen. The spy will read that screen from the start IMHO

its hard to see all the defensive alaignment on tv when the steelers offense is on the field, but so many times when willie is a lone set back, it seems to be wide open on the edges for a pitch out. everytime i see it and think it would be a perfect call, it is willie up the middle for 2 yds.

Yep.... It looks like he could break some big ones if they ran a toss every once in a while.
As far as the HB screen I think I can count the number of those we ran this year on one hand.

That WR Screen is used to bring the corners up closer to the LOS hence setting them up to get beat deep. all teams have some version of this screen and you'll see it used at least once or twice almost every game.
