Bernie Kosar's first game at Three Rivers
It was sometime in the 80's, maybe 1987 or 1988 when Kosar and the original Browns played at Pittsburgh. The crowd was very loud that day as it always was when the Steelers played the Browns.
Late in the second quarter Kosar lined up in the shotgun on about the Browns' 20 yard line. It got really loud and then Kosar waved his arms up and down to try to quiet the Steelers' crowd! Dumb!!! Every person in the stadium jumped to his and her feet and roared.
Kosar stayed in the shotgun and they finally snapped the ball, which sailed over his head! The Steelers recovered the ball and scored on the next play. I think they won by about 7 so the crowd really had an impact on the game. I'll bet Kosar never did that again in an opponent's stadium.

Funny you mention that, I do remember that. He complained to the ref at 1 time also.
