How many of us who live in the tri-state area haven't been to Seven Springs to ski, snowboard or indulge in their seafood buffet?

Sadly, two young people tragically lost their lives early this morning as a result of a fire that broke out in the condo they were staying in. Sketchy details thus far, but the story is below.

Fire Destroys 6 Condos, Kills 2 In Seven Springs

SEVEN SPRINGS (KDKA) ― State Police in Somerset County are investigating an overnight fire that left two people from Belle Vernon dead.

The fire broke out just after 1 a.m. at a condominium along Sunridge Road at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

Police say 26-year-old Sasha Zuro and 22-year-old Jonathan Murt, both of Belle Vernon, were killed in the fire.

The Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal is investigating, but officials say it appears that the fire originated from a fireplace in Unit F-10 at the Villages at Seven Springs.

Six condominiums were destroyed in the fire.
